This is the message that sparked my quest for more. It may be a little difficult to read because all I had to shoot the photo with was my not-so-smart phone. It says: Tucker, I (heart) you. XO Mom.

The writer of this message, presumably a visitor, seems confused about local geography. Although it says, “Destin 2014,” I found it on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach.

Two young ladies were posing to have their picture taken with this word when I happened by them at the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. They were here visiting the area and were happy to let me take a picture, too.
