A landmark on Eglin Parkway for nearly 50 years comes down Monday morning, as the rusting upside down horseshoe was removed from the top of the Gulf Coast Boating Center sign. In 1962, when the Continental Club opened in that location, the club’s name was spelled out on the steel arch.
